About
My name is Alicia Vedio
My work developed over the years, first as a health care worker of deprived communities, and a doctorate into institutional racism; later by training with a number of wonderful teachers that helped me deepen into my own inner conflicts.
I retired from the health service a few years back and taken a long journey of deconditioning myself from the hyper rationality of science in order to trust my inner compass and my perception and intuition.
I trained as a therapeutic evolutionary astrologer in the School of Pablo Flores Laymuns who is the main lecturer, in the same school with Clara Abad I was guided through the major arcane through immersive exploration and art.
Insightful spiritual teachers that accompanied me in this path were Chameli Ardagh and the Women Wisdom School, Toko-pa Turner and the Dream School, Rachel Cargle and the Great Unlearn, Ruth King and Mindful of Race among others.
Some of my journey took me to Human Design and Gene Keys, if you are familiar with this I can tell you I am a Human Design type Reflector with a 5/1 profile and I am in the Left angle cross of defiance 2. My Purpose Gene Key is 49 (reaction-revolution-rebirth), a specialist in transforming conflict. In Astrology, Neptune, Mars and the Sun, Jupiter and Mercury, Lilith and Chiron, the axis of service, the axis of knowledge and Scorpio are all very active. In the real world what this information basically tells you that I have a gift of intuition and understanding of the other, humans and non-human beings, and I am able to gift support and guidance.
My main values are based in Permaculture principles. I studied with Heather Jo Flores in Permaculture Women (now Ecodesign Hive). The three ethics of Earth Care, People Care and Future Care are essential in any work I do and decision I take.
I believe that the "more than human" world needs to participate in our decisions. As Phoebe Tickell from Moral Imaginations says: "What would the world look like now if rivers, lands, oceans, trees, non-human animals and future generations... had been given a voice in each decision we take?"
